Norman G. Rosenblum, M.D., Ph.D., Named Director, Gynecologic Oncology, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
Norman G. Rosenblum, M.D., Ph.D., has been named director, Division of Gynecologic Oncology, in the Department of Obstetrics
and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. He has also been appointed clinical assistant professor
of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Rosenblum was formerly chief, Gynecologic Oncology, in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center,
Philadelphia, and chief, Gynecologic Oncology, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Main Line Health Hospitals.

“He brings extensive experience in gynecologic oncology and is highly regarded by both patients and fellow staffers.” Dr.
Rosenblum sees patients at the Jefferson Center for Gynecologic Oncology in Jefferson's Gibbon Building, Suite 6200.
Dr. Rosenblum received a bachelor of arts degree from Villanova University in 1969. He continued there to receive a master
of science degree in biology in 1971 and then attended the Jefferson College of Graduate Studies, where he received a doctorate
in anatomy in 1975. He received a doctor of medicine degree in 1978 from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
After completing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1982, Dr. Rosenblum
completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology and was awarded a fellowship grant sponsored by the American Cancer Society,
at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in 1984.
Dr. Rosenblum is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons.
He is a board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
Dr. Rosenblum is a member of the American Medical Association, Sigma Xi Research Society, American Association of Gynecologic
Laparoscopists, Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, American Radium
Society, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society of Surgical Oncology, Association
of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, International Gynecologic Cancer Society, National Comprehensive Cancer Network
(NCCN) Cervical Cancer Screening Panel, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Philadelphia Medical Society, Obstetrical Society
of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Oncologic Society and College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
He serves as a special reviewer on the Editorial Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a manuscript reviewer for the
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
His research interests include ovarian cancer and cervical cancer. He has been published in journals such as the
Journal of Clinical Oncology,
Cancer,
Journal of Reproductive Medicine,
Gynecologic Oncology and
International Journal of Gynecologic Cancer. Dr. Rosenblum has also presented his research at a variety of national meetings including the annual meeting of the Society
of Gynecologic Oncologists and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
The Jefferson Center for Gynecologic Oncology specializes in the treatment of all gynecologic cancers. The Center has a multidisciplinary
approach to the treatment of cancer and coordinates surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy as needed for individual patients.
